TrustedForm
What TrustedForm is, why it matters, and how to ensure your leads have certificates.
What Is TrustedForm?
TrustedForm is a third-party service that records what a consumer sees and does on your lead capture page. It creates a certificate — a timestamped, tamper-proof record of the consumer's experience.
Why It Matters
For Compliance
TrustedForm certificates prove that the consumer saw the required disclosures, agreed to terms, and wasn't misled. This is critical for legal lead generation.
For Lead Quality
Law firms require TrustedForm verification as part of their intake process. Leads without certificates may be rejected or delayed.
For Your Business
High TrustedForm coverage demonstrates to MTS and to law firms that your leads are legitimate and compliant. It protects you if a lead's consent is ever questioned.
TrustedForm Coverage
Your TF Coverage percentage shows how many of your leads have TrustedForm certificates. Aim for 100% coverage.
You can see your TF coverage on:
- Your dashboard summary
- The My Leads page (TrustedForm column)
- The Performance page
How to Ensure Coverage
- Install the TrustedForm script on all your lead capture pages
- Verify it's working — submit a test lead and confirm the certificate appears
- Monitor regularly — check your TF Coverage metric on the dashboard
Certificate Expiration
TrustedForm certificates expire after 72 hours unless retained by MTS. The MTS team handles retention for qualifying leads, but it's important that certificates are present at the time of submission.
Common Issues
0% TF Coverage
The TrustedForm script is likely not installed on your landing pages. Contact MTS support for the installation snippet.
Coverage Below 100%
Some of your landing pages may be missing the script. Check each page individually and ensure the script is present on all lead capture forms.
Certificate Not Found
If a lead was submitted without TrustedForm, the certificate field will be empty. This cannot be retroactively fixed — the script must be present at the time the consumer fills out the form.
